The appearance section on your editor allows you to choose a background colour. The email background colour choice is always available. Click on the colour swatch and select your chosen background colour from the palette, or type / paste the hexadecimal value into the box.
To change a structure, container or stripe background colour simply select the stripe, structure or container you wish to edit then select your chosen background colour or type / paste the hexadecimal value into the box for background colour on the left hand side of your screen.
